Giveaway #2: Two iPod Shuffles, 11-17 May 2009

This giveaway is now finished. You can use the record of the drawing below to verify that you were entered and see whether or not you won.

RANDOM.ORG's second giveaway was for two iPod Shuffles (4GB) with random bit strings engraved on the back. Since iPods as far as we know do not use true randomness to shuffle their songs, the iPods given away by RANDOM.ORG are likely the first Shuffles in the world to include any measure of true randomness! (Admittedly, it will not have much effect on the playback order of your songs, but still…)

This giveaway was open to anyone who was a RANDOM.ORG newsletter subscriber on 11 May 2009. The winners were picked on 17 May 2009 using RANDOM.ORG's Third-Party Draw Service. The iPods will be shipped free of cost to the winners anywhere in the world. (You may have to pay import duty, if any.)
